The British are up to their ears in Brexit matters at present. Once that's settled, yes it would be high time to take steps toward unifying the two Irelands, since that's in the hearts of many people there and in England.

There is no call for 'unity' and the Northern Irish would make it known if they wanted it, they don't.......in so far as Ireland being given a vote that is up to ROI not the UK

I know there are many who wont accept it but there is a majority of people in Northern Ireland who want to be a part of Britain and always will be. Northern Ireland is a home for the Protestants in the way Israel is a home for the Jews and Pakistan was created as a home for the Muslims after India got its independence.
