I'd need to know what you eat in order to answer that.
EDIT: Okay, so maybe the reason you can't get enough food is that your diet is so limited, you're not getting enough nutrients. It's known that when a population who have been living on a traditional whole food diet start eating a diet of modern processed food, they start getting fat, because the lack of nutrients in the food causes their bodies to keep signaling them to eat, even after they've eaten enough calories. Lack of nutrients leads to lack of satiety. Maybe that's what is going on here. Try expanding your diet to include other things. You can still eat comfort foods, but I recommend you make them yourself from scratch rather than eating pre-prepared processed foods. You might need to learn how to cook some things, if you don't already know how to cook or to follow a recipe.
Come to think of it, though, 3 or 4 burgers a day with chips is not an abnormal amount of food. Either you must either be already eating something else or you don't really have a problem.
