Why doesn't Greg Louganis appear on any lists of famous or great LGBT people?
He won 5 Olympic medals, 4 Gold and 1 Silver. Several Diving Coaches have said that his level of talent will most likely never be seen again. He was one of the first major male athletes to come out as gay and one of the first celebrities to admit they were HIV positive when they weren't about to die. He deserves a ton of recognition. But whenever I see lists about amazing queer figures and icons or just famous LGBT people his name is never mentioned. Why is that?

He doesn't make a big deal about himself- most of the others crave the limelight and are self promoters.

Maybe it's because he had aids and people who have aids aren't supposed to be role models? Lmao.

You mad pathetic if you have to look up accomplished gay people to feel less insecure about yourself
"But studies show"
But nothing. Stds are spreadable and there's no excuse for people who spread them.
