That depends on your careers. Every location has its advantages and disadvantages.
Each of you make a list of what's most important to you (Work, good schools if you plan on having children, parks if you like to walk/hike trails, low crime areas, of course, nightlife, bowling alleys/movie theaters or other "fun" things to do on your days off, close to grocery stores/city life or would you both prefer something a bit more rural and wouldn't mind making the commute, etc.)....WHATEVER is important to you.
Take a large map (a world map, if you're both willing, or just one of the U.S.A.) and a cork board (use the "roll" type board you can put up instead of an expensive framed one)....hang the map. Go to a sporting goods store and get some darts. Take turns throwing the dart at the map - 3 to 5 times each - write down where it lands.
Research those cities/states (or countries) where the dart lands to see if there is a good job market for both of you...as well as whatever else is on your lists.
