The last sentence is the key to AI being able to adapt and problem solve as a human can and not make mistakes as humans do. AI will continue to reprogram itself using real time data and the past data which is stored and as AI continues to improve itself on its own without human intervention there's no limit to the amount of data AI can use and the data stored can be made available to all who have access to the Internet making knowledge more accessible to everyone with the comfort of knowing this is the truth as of right now. It's not possible for AI to take over and replicate itself because the raw materials needed are being controlled by humans. This takes out the fear some people have that AI will dominate and take over humans. AI is a tool of learning and storing information, and nothing more than a tool, just the same as computers are a tool. I can picture Amazon Edge using the full capabilities of AI to answer any question and play any music ever composed as long as AI has access to the knowledge and music, which it has because it's programmed to look for and store the information on it's own without human intervention. Many people think AI will take the place of humans. This will not be possible because humans are capable of shutting off electrical power to AI at any time, including a generator which is off the power grid.. The Internet is the beginning of the use of AI, and AI is gathering information from the Internet and from trusted people who program correct information into AI. I think I'll re-read the book "1984" as I recall when I read it when it first came out, it told of what will happen in the future, but since the book was written, mankind has surpassed that which was predicted in the book by a very large margin. I thought at the time I read the book, it was science fiction; little did I know or even think any part of that which was predicted will come to pass. I think it's time to write a new and abridged edition of the book, "1984", and show what's taking place right now, as many people won't believe we humans are capable of dictating our future and achieving that which is imagined in the mind of humans to make our imagination a reality.because we are given the tools to do so and we know how to use the tools, You have my permission to write the new "1984" as I'm retired and don't want to spend the time writing, so I'll read instead, as my search for knowledge will end when my mind is gone or I die of old age.
