Is 78 people enough of a gene pool?

Hi so I am writing a book, and in it there are 78 people in a colony, is this enough of a gene pool to avoid instant inbreeding and for the colony to expand in population?

If the 78 people are all related, or several extended families, then no.

Otherwise if they are unrelated, probably OK, but I'll defer to biologists / geneticists.
