Why are the reporters not disclosing the Alabama age of consent (16),?

They don't seem to get that those young women are at or beyond the legal age of consent in their state.

14 is below the age of consent.

16 is the age of consent, true, BUT Moore is in a position of authority which doesn't make it good for him, you see. This is why teachers go to jail for screwing their students. They have power over the minor.

Normal, well adjusted men do not look to fvck minors, fyi. As well, reporters ARE mentioning the age of consent.

Maybe for the same reason reporters also don't report on states like Alabama and their culture of incest and inbreeding, ever consider that? And whether it is "legal" or not, does it really matter when some of Moore's accusers were younger than 16 at the time he was GROOMING them by ingratiating himself, and impressing them with his sophisticated ways... wrong is wrong even if it's not against laws... it has nothing to do it legality but with ethics and morality, and that is precisely what the creepy old bigot AND pedophile is being judged by, HIS ethics and morals... or actually the LACK thereof.

As far as older men chasing younger women, ever heard of Bill Clinton or Howard Hughes or Larry King? As long as they are age of consent, it is not illegal nor even immoral. All we have to substantiate the age of the 14 year old is her statement.

Oddly enough, NOBODY but you is tooting that horn K. I think you're full of bullshyt and prejudice. The age of consent is CRITICAL to this story because they keep saying "pursuing teenagers when 2/3 of his accusers were already adult women. 1 claims she was 14, but I wonder.
