Haven't you heard about Venezuelas food crisis because of its socialist dictatorship?

Is there any hope for that country?

Venezuela went from the richest country in South America to one of the poorest and all from socialism. When they were a capitalist country they were a happy country.

The fact that it is a petroleum driven economy in Venezuela and Capitalism is keeping the oil prices artificially low has nothing at all to do with it, right?

And here I thought world economy was a complex subject. I'm glad that there are people like you out there that can explain it all to us by simplifying the cause and effect of such things into a single, concise sentence with no gray areas.

Handing out more than they could pay played a role. But you are suggesting the Capitalist system is the default correct system. Why do you not look at it as people are not paying them what their exports were worth as being the root problem instead of people needing more than their government could give them? I'll answer that: because you base your view on Capitalism being inherently the correct system they should be using, then look for evidence to draw a conclusion that Capitalism is the correct system they should be using.

Yes. Liberals want us to have a picture of Lenin in our kitchens and thank him for our food.
