    Θ = arctan(V2/V1) west of south

    |V| = √(V1² - V2²)

    Θ = arctan(V2/V1) west of north

    3/

    |V| = V1 - V2

    Θ = 90º west

    |V| = V1 + V2

    Θ = 90º east
