Why don’t we give Puerto Rico back to Spain?

Puerto Rico is the Spanish speaking Haiti in the West Indies. Puerto Rico is an economic burden on the US Economy. I say we sell it to Spain.

First and foremost, who or what is "we"?

Puerto Rico are AMERICAN citizens who've fought in EVERY war and conflict USA has had since 1917 (via the 1917 Jones Act) to present in every capacity of every division of USA's military forces.

Puerto Rico is a FREE & associated country, we don't "belong" TO the USA, and we are NOT the property of the USA to give or sell to anyone or any foreign nation. Spain invaded and usurped PR through their military might and imperialistic greed; we are NOT and never were their LEGAL property or colony; we are full fledged AMERICAN citizens and we control our own destiny and future, with many American businesses and industry throughout our nation.

PR has made numerous donations and humanitarian assistance to every disaster USA has endured and suffered. We've allowed the USA to have military bases in our country, even after the closings of many of them with bubble head President Reagan's "austerity program."

THAT is why no one and NO nation can give Spain anything that is rightfully OURS. But if you want to give Spain anything, give them a loaded bag of soiled diapers.

Puerto Rico is worse than Haiti, is a parasitic country who is
      a burden on the USA.

Spain don't want it and couldn't afford it, Spain can't even afford to support themselves, the EU does that
