According to the Bible, it was created perfect, then sin entered the world... We are no longer in the perfect Garden of Eden. Adam sinned and was thrown out, and we bear the sin of our forefathers.
God does not cause tsunamis either, just a geologic process. Geologists will tell you that 90% of what you see on the surface was created by volcanoes. That's not God either, read up on plate tectonics. Are you just looking for someone to blame? God gave dominion over the Earth to man, and the responsibility. Earth is still very much alive.
I can't imagine how perfect and extremely intelligent the first man, Adam, must have been. Moses said that Adam wrote a book, probably about Creation, naming the animals and so forth, and Adam is probably the original author of Genesis 1-11, handed down to Moses to be included in the Pentateuch, and provide the inspiration for the rest of the Bible. This also tells me that Adam was not only fully literate, but highly intelligent as well.
Adam’s descendants were making complex musical instruments, forging metal, and building cities—their tools, machines, and techniques were not primitive. The idea that more primitive civilizations are further back in time is an unproven evolutionary concept. Undoubtedly, some people lived in caves and many still do, but most people choose to live in the city or farm the great resources given to us on land and sea complete with creatures in our dominion and responsibility.
Blame Adam; the sumbitch shafted us all.
So far it is “only” our region of the universe that is “just right” for life—and that only adds to the argument that life on earth was not a natural accident but the result of divine, supernatural creation.
Why would everything explode from nothing and, by pure chance, form beautiful laws like E=MC2 or F=MA?
Did you miss this because your thought is based in materialism, which has no basis for logic or reasoning? Can a true atheist account for uniformity in nature at all (the basis by which we can do real science)?
I hope you understand that the fact that matter exists proves there is more than Matter because matter is finite and matter cannot cause itself (an absurdity).
I hope you understand that consciousness is immaterial (Demonstrated experimentally by the starter experiments).
I hope you understand that matter cannot produce anything immaterial. (The math just does not work).
Therefore the fact that matter exists proves there is more than Matter because matter is finite and matter cannot cause itself (an absurdity).
The laws that govern the universe preclude it from not having a beginning, and no matter how how you slice it, you cannot escape an external cause for the Physical Universe.
The evidence points to Creation, therefore a Creator.
