Without knowing your survival skills, I would have to presume that the simple fact that you are asking means that you have no such skills.
Tents vary widely. A tent capable of being comfortable for 4 persons for a Summer camping trip to a national forest can be had at a big Box store for about $100. It is lightweight, urethane covered Nylon. It would easily stand up to a summer rain and a couple of weeks usage. It might even last through several summers if you take good care of it. A tent sutable for the same number of occupants in Alaska would be of heavy canvas and you better have mending supplies on hand at all times. With the extra lining, wood burning heater, and other refinements needed for the temperatures in Alaska, the cost of your tent will probably be somewhere around $1,000 at a minimum. Then there is the matter of fuel, You do not need enough fire-wood to fill a pickup truck, You will need enough to hide 2 pickup trucks behind. Food. for your summer camp-out in the lower 48, a diet of 2 -3 thousand calories should work just fine. In Alaska, you would starve to death on that.
I seriously believe that you have no idea what you might be getting into.
