Would there be any real possible way for Mexico to pay for this so called wall?

I think people took Trump too literally. The plan was always to get the money through tariffs and and charging Mexican suppliers more to export goods to the US- possibly through opting out of NAFTA. But that's very unrealistic, and the funds wouldn't go directly to the wall anyway. It's going to be part of the budget proposal, which means the costs would come out of taxpayer dollars.

It's just a joke that many in the GOP are unable to grasp. Starting at the top.

No. Well, not until the drug war ends and they can start getting their country together. Mexico has some of the world's largest untapped gold and silver deposits but it's too damn dangerous to mine it with all of the killing over illegal drug wealth.

    Of course.

Whether the Mexican government can be persuaded to do so is a different matter...

but certainly Mexico could do so.

Political / financial pressures and rewards. Something like, "You want us to continue allowing free trade with the U.S. when we buy almost all of your products? You want us to increase the amount of funding (foreign aid) we give you to line your personal pockets? Then cough up some bucks."
