Well, what is happiness? That's a very philosophical question. Is there a standard for happiness? If one wishes to be happy then they must have a standard for happiness in which they can cite.
Whether one is a believer or an unbeliever in God & His Word in the Holy Bible is another topic of debate, but the Holy Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6:10 that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Why? Because money is divisive. It divides us if we let it. The love of money is where exploitation emanates from. Capitalists are a fine example of this as they let their love of money come before God. Anything that comes before the Lord our God is evil.
Capitalists exploit the masses of individuals who have not been bestowed with the privilege of wealth by making them work long & hard, & for what? Nothing, that's what.
So, no, money cannot buy one happiness. At best it can lead to seclusion, loneliness, bitterness, egotistical-ness & all other kinds of evil.
