1. Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper and the White Album are my favorites.
2. Usually, first albums had more time to pick singles and album tracks from, or they have the most genuine feelings of the act involved because success has not infiltrated the art. Examples, all genres:
Black Crowes - Southern Harmony and Musical Companion
Chris Stapleton - Traveller
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
Hootie and the Blowfish - Cracked Rear View
Garth Brooks - Garth Brooks
Eminem - Slim Shady LP
The Cars - The Cars
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
Boston - Boston
Zac Brown Band - The Foundation
Beastie Boys - License To Ill
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Cyndi Lauper - She's So Unusual
Pearl Jam - Ten
Bad Company - Bad Company
The Judds - Why Not Me
Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Whitney Houston - Whitney Houston
Alabama - Mountain Music
3. Today's music is mostly driven by greedy money, and it seems the middle class that makes people the happiest (between too much poverty and too much responsibility) is gone. No one is happy about the way it's going right now. The music reflects our lack of integrity or direction.

1) Abbey Road 2) Usually not because the band is just starting to find their style & groove. 3) Too much depression and unhappiness in the world today.
