After examining the evidence I don't believe that any writings that people call "god's word" are, in fact, words delivered from gods.
For example, I do not believe the Bible represents a god's words delivered to humans because its claims do not hold up to scrutiny for these reasons:
1. Failed prophecies (Isaiah 19:1-8)
2. False prophecies, not declared to be prophetic at the time they were written, but after (Isaiah 7:14)
3. Failed promises such as prayer (Matt 18:19)
4. Clear evidence of fictional story development in the synoptic gospels, such as the resurrection story which didn't exist in the earliest gospel of Mark then developed more detail from Matthew to Luke.
The Bible contains characteristics of a human work of fiction, not of a god.
