Yes, I agree that the pure knowledge of God was kept alive in the world, and the 'true worship' was conveyed by the faithful, as God intended it to be.

Prior to the late 20th century, virtually all people who claimed to be Christians, understood Scripture to be inspired, preserved and sacred. So, what happened since?
Let's put it this way: many don't want to believe in the Bible anymore. Why? Because the Bible judges us (that's what the Word is supposed to do) -- But instead, many will judge the Word, rather than abandoning their "ego" and "sinful lifestyles."
Not to forget that the enemy (satan), who knows that his time is short, is working unabated to sow division among the churches and to distort the Truth.
