It would appear that the ownership has changed their direction for the station, and making room for new talent, or simply cutting costs rather than adding advertising to make up the shortfall. If you have an issue with them, perhaps it would be best to let them know what is on your mind, directly, on their website, instead of our here on the world wide internet ... (Hint, they aren't listening here).

Their music isn't playing in a continual loop, they change orders, and frequencies. Perhaps you simply need to change channels once in a while for alternate content? I understand that even listening to the same 100 tunes can get old after a few weeks. Make it 1000 and it works for more than a month without repeats. The presenters don't pick their own playlists, it is done by their producer. Dejay is a US term, DJ, short for Disc Jockey, which they used to spin, 45 rpm singles, and once in a while the 8 inch 33.3 rpm albums back in the vinyl days, or even the more brittle 10 inch 78 rpm shellac resin (Amberol) records and some reel to reel magnetic tape studio recordings. However, much of what Gold Plays were recorded during the vinyl era.
