If someone moves & has a medigap policy for medicare does their rates change?
I notice they go by one's zipcode of what medigap policies are available in your zipcode. What happens if I move to another zipcode? What if my insurance company isn't in that zipcode & it's not the time of year to change?

Medicare Supplements (medigap) can change premium depending on your zip code. It doesn't matter if that company actively sells in the new zip code; you can still keep that policy if you move.
You can change Medicare Supplements at any time of the year as long as you qualify. They do not have lock in periods like Medicare Advantage plans and Part D plans do. However, even if you have these types you can change if you move out of the area that the particular plans are available.
