Is an ace considered a face card, a number card, or neither in probability and statistics?

Update:

The question is: "Find the probability of drawing a number card and then a red card (with replacement) from a standard deck of cards." I know how to solve this question, but I want to know if there are 9 or 10 number cards.

    It's considered an ACE.

The problem will specify. It can go either way.

    • Yeah, ok, except for the fact that it doesn't specify.
