It was assembled from parts sold with the Jubilee Coach magazine published by Bissett Magazines. The first four parts were included with the first magazine and this was sold at the special price of $4.95 (plus $1 postage). Subsequent copies of the magazine contained one part each and were sold for $14.95 (plus $1 postage). Nobody knows how many parts made up the final coach as even the Queen gave up her subscription when the coach was still not quite complete after 130 magazines..

The Royal Collection Trust bought the coach for an undisclosed amount.

Private funding was used to build the coach, along with a grant from the Australian government. Australian coach-maker,"Frecklington funded the construction of the coach as a private initiative with some help from the Australian government in form of a $250,000 (£138,000) grant. "

Quit complaining. The royals can spend your taxes any way they chose.

I've just done a little searching (Google) but can't find a definite price. You can bet it wasn't an insignificant sum however.
