Dinosaurs, at least the large terrestrial ones, died at the end of the Cretaceous period 65 million years ago based on fossil evidence and numerous dating techniques. Dinosaurs died off 65 million years ago. They lived from about 250 million years ago to 65 million years ago based on the best available scientific evidence. We don't need creationism in schools IMO but theories need to be taught as theories. The thing is, it is important for your children to understand the scientific evidence, whether you understand it or not. You can try to teach your kids myths but they will sniff those out. If you are a Christian, I think your faith can handle the evidence as long as none of it is hidden. If you are trying to teach your kids to ignore the actual world around them, good luck with that. I'm hoping your kids learn all the evidence. If they learn enough, they will rightly conclude that dinosaurs died off about 65 million years ago.
