Neither to the right nor to the left, but so far for all for himself. Let us say Donald Trump has since either come or he has gone too far for such archetypal categorisations to be applicable. What is unique about Donald Trump the business mogul is him being Donald Trump the president, that he is not a politician, not yet. The greatest challenge to him comes from the home front, from the establishment, to traditionally presides over the presidency. Donald Trump was not expected to win, and neither was he was welcome when he did, now that he has won, and is properly in place, the behind the scene machinery has come into motion, to mould him, to harness him, to shape him into form acceptable by the political elite(?).
This is the battle between one person, his people, and the power invested in him by his people through the office, between all this and the power of the machinery he is to operate. This will be hard, taxing, tiring and dangerous course. This is what people do to those who they see have gatecrashed a party, and cannot be got rid of, they make them dance to the tunes of there choosing. The question then is, who is running the show?
There have been some positive changes in his performance and public image, but positive as they may be it is startling to realise that he is not the very Donald Trump as we got used to during election rallies and campaign. If he becomes very different from what the public bid for then people will feel deceived and lied to, but if he does not change at all, it might be too hard going for him to do anything of all that he promised to do. So what should he do, he should do what any good politician would - be a one hell of a diplomat!! If I were him I would be just as smart as he already is … what else I can say, other than that I wish him well!
