    There are 4 aces and 13 clubs in a deck of 52 cards.

    So you might think there are 17 favorable outcomes. However, there is one card (Ace of Clubs) that is both and would have been counted twice. So there are actually 16 ways to pick an Ace or a Club (or both).

    Divide to get the probability.


    = 4/13
