Which names are incorrect and why? CaCl2 Calcium chloride Cu2O Copper (II) oxide PbS2 Lead (II) sulfide?

    calcium chloride is correct

    Cu2O should be copper(I) oxide because the oxidation number of Cu is +1 (O is -2)

    PbS2 should be lead(IV) sulfide (Pb is +4 while S is -2)
