    q = (mass) (temp. change) (sp. heat)

    q = (54 g) (____ C) (1cal/g C)

    (____ C)

    because you did not provide an ending temperature. Let's say the water was heated up to 65 C from 0 C. We would then have this:

    q = (54 g) (65 C) (1cal/g C)

    q = 3510 cal
