Should I put hot water in shoes that have odor then let them dry overnight?

    It won't happen only with hot water and you can really ruin your shoes. Better use some baking soda or put tea bags for a whole night.

    Sure, if you want the shoes to be ruined and mildewy. Why would you even consider doing this?

    If the shoes smell, you need to wear socks with them if they are those type of shoe.

    You can use baking soda to try and absorb the odor. You can also try baby powder. The idea way of doing it would be to put a few spoonfuls in a piece of Pantyhose/Nylons and knotting it. This will help prevent a powder bomb when you put the shoes on.
