When we find laws enacted to deny Blacks AND Hispanics voting rights, where voting machines are usually defective and often insufficient numbers allotted to KNOWN Black voter areas... when every aspect of America is controlled and the majority of those hired are White and talented, gifted and knowledgeable minority members (Blacks & Hispanics) are not given equal opportunities for upward mobility... what the eff else can be said when this goes on systematically throughout America, and has gone on since before the Civil War?
Yes, it comes down from the politics of the majority when it comes to quality of education and proper funding for certain schools districts KNOWN to be dominated by Whites and the inadequate funding for schools located in areas known to be dominantly Black and Hispanic, where White employers choose mediocre White workers to supervise the more knowledgeable, more gifted and talented minority members who find obstacles and obstructions in trying to secure better benefits, better pay and/or advancement opportunities at every level.
Some will allude to the MYTHICAL "Affirmative Action" where MORE White women benefited than black men and black women combined in getting better education and securing employment in areas historically known to ignore qualified women and qualified and experienced Blacks (men AND women). Or the special "set-aside" government programs for Small Businesses, where women are recognized as "minority" and are allotted contracts... where women are "owners" IN NAME ONLY since men run and operate and profit from those contracts, while the women designated as "owner" never step foot onto the business premises or knows what goes on.
America drones and yaps on and on about equality, fairness and justice yet the world knows how hypocritical America actually is based on the treatment to the Blacks, Hispanics, the elderly, the disabled and the destitute. America would rather build private shelters to benefit shelter owners than build affordable homes that create jobs and gives a home to the homeless that can live in dignity and find employment, pay taxes...
Yes, the political system OPPRESSES minority members and denies us all opportunities to live a decent life, to compete fairly based on our skills, talents and experiences, to get a decent education, to find gainful employment on an equal basis with others, and to live in decent housing.
