My wife is mixed race black and white with long curly hair, but I want her to look more african. She wont change her hair.?

Love her for how she is. That's the worst and one of the most damaging things you can do to somebody u say u love ask them to change their appearance for u. You are gonna make her feel like she isn't good enough and that takes a toll on a person's mental and emotional health. Your wife sounds pretty the way she is be grateful for her rather than trying to change her.

being mixed race myself I find this insulting on so many levels. You had a chance to voice your concerns and you obviously did not find them important enough at the time. Or as I said to my now ex-husband," you never loved or appreciated what you had." You better start seeing her for the woman she is, because the next man will.

Too late now to try and change her. Unfortunately that is a conversation that should have happened before you were married. If she doesn't want to change her hair then I suggest you get over it.

What you should do is love her the way she is. Isn't that why you fell in love with her in the first place? What if she came to you saying, "I want you to change the way you look." How would you feel? Not good enough for her? Think about she wants for herself not what you want her to be.
