Is reading 330 words a minute fast?
As well, Is there a scale in speed reading?

Reading 330 wpm is not really fast, it is faster than average though. Most people read from 200 to 300 words per minute. The rate varies depending on what you are reading so the average person could easily read simple material at 330 wpm and more complicated material might be slower.
Speed readers can read 600 to 2500 words per minute. The rate of 600 wpm is where true speed reading is considered to start, so from 300 to 600 is fast.
I will include a link to a free reading speed test below so you can test your own reading speed.

Many people can read a lot and learn or interpret nothing.
The question is how much you can glean from what you read. How many of the important points that you understand and how infrequently you overlook anything that is important.
Imagine a prison administrator reading a note from the Governor saying that the prisoner is not to be put to death at dawn.
The reader reads almost everything except the word "not".
Could be a problem.
