Is Overheating car smoke/steam harmful to breathe?
My aunt's car over heated and while I was looking around under the hood I didn't really realize I was breathing in the steam. Is it harmful should I worry?

It's not the best for a mechanic that has this happen many times during a week but it won't hurt you for just a little while.

It shouldn't hurt you. I have did the same thing. Antifreeze is bad news when you drink it, but inhaling particles of mist didn't kill me, and I got a mouthful on a few occasions. I just spit a bunch and rinsed out my mouth...I probably wouldn't recommend doing it everyday, but 1 time shouldn't hurt you.
