Should President Trump and Congress completely privatize the United States Postal Service and leave it to sink or swim by its own efforts?

Should the new Republican president and congress completely privatize the US Postal Service and leave it to sink or swim on its own, like other carriers?

    Yes.

It is ludicrous to retain this relic of socialism in letter-delivery.

AS IF it couldn't be outperformed by a private service any day!

President Trump and Congress will not completely privatize the United States Postal Service. Its is one of the few things the federal Democrats do, that is required by the constitution. However, Obamacare will be repealed and replaced as required by what everyone, other than Democrats, call: The Law.

It would take an Amendment to do so.

See Article 1, Section 8, Clause 7 of the US Constitution. :)
