What are the chances of a 21 year old who has only done volunteer work with passing a job interview at McDonalds?

    very good, swot up on the job, the function and mcdonalds.

    3 things they want to know. will you fit the company culture, will you stick around, will you be able to do the job - SIMPLE

    You are young and seem to want the job so your odds are good. Keeping these jobs is the harder part. Many don't stay around and others have trouble with punctuality and work ethic.

    McDonald's has a college tuition program now which is in its favor but I suggest you also give wal mart a look. If you stick around and complete pathways training there is a big pay bump. Also you can ask for a higher hourly rate right when they hire you in most cities. McDonald's will insist you start at minimum wage.

    It depends on a lot of things... your personality, what type of volunteer work did you do and for how long, could you use your volunteer boss as a reference? What grades did you get in school? Etc.

    high, if you seem nice and dependable, you don't need any prior work experience to work at mcdonalds
