Is Australia becoming the new West Indies?

The West Indies were giants in cricket for a while and won the first 2 wcs. Then they turned into a weak team. Australia was also a cricketing giant winning 3 wcs in a row. Now they're getting white washed in India, UAE, Sri Lanka, South Africa, etc...

Australia won the most recent world cup and has been the top ODI and test nation up until the last few months. That does not demonstrate anything like a team that has dropped to the way the West Indies have.

No way ,after India beat the Windies in the late 70s in the World Cup, it broke there hearts .The Windies lost the love of cricket to football, basket ball, sprinting ,Cricket is still the number one sport in OZ and they are still unplayable at home

Nope, not at all. Australia do manage to thrash the teams at home.

We are still ahead of England in the test ranking so what does that say for them(and you)?

Bravo, nice trolling but your insights are ridiculous. Obviously your knowledge of the game is limited.
