Can I switch a ssd?

I have a hp chrome book 14. Which has a 16gb ssd. I want to take that out and put it in my desktop. I want to use it just to install windows 10 64 bit,but it says it needs about 20gb of storage. If I delete everything on the ssd will Windows compress it to fit. Is there anyway to install windows 10 on it? By the way I'm using a 500gb hdd. IS there any way plz help. I'll install windows on the ssd and keep everything else on the hdd.

    Hi,

the SSD inside your chromebook is most likely on the PCB itself and most likely cannot be removed. In the event that the Solid State Drive can be removed. It is not possible to "compress" windows to fit onto the 16GB SSD. Sorry to say.

    Have a great day.

Even if you were able to do this, 16gb is not enough for system and the system would be unstable.
