Do you think the IOC will strip Simone Biles of her medals?

No, I don't, because Miss Biles filed a medical exemption well before the games started. Athletes are permitted to take what would otherwise be banned substances, such as Ritalin, as long as they file an exemption and have their request properly documented. Biles has done nothing wrong- she won the medals honestly and fairly. ADHD is a common, TREATABLE psychological and medical disorder. It's recognized by the AMA, the APA, and the American Psychological Association. It's also listed in all the medical coding manuals.

By the way, I might also mention that what is true for human athletes at the Olympics is ALSO true for EQUINE athletes at the games. Riders and trainers are permitted to use drugs like Banamine, Bute, and antibiotics on horses competing internationally, as long as they have their treating vets file an affidavit attesting to the reasons for such use. The FEI ( Federation Equestre Internationale) regulates and oversees drug testing for horses, and the IOC tests people.

no she had a medical exception for the prescriptions she was taking, it seems a Russian hacker released this information because all the Russian track and field athletes were banned from the Rio games because Russia had a government sponsored and organized program that abuses PED's

  • They need to this exemption lost is ridiculous. Look at the mess Serena Williams was taking. How they allowed her to get away with those is beyond belief.

Disgusting that they demonized the Russian athletes so much.

ADHD is a legitimate psychological disorder, Al. It's in all the medical manuals, and it's also recognized by the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association. Ms.Biles did nothing wrong. She had filed all the proper paperwork well before the games started.
