Which bronchodilators are you referring to?

The Saunders Nursing Drug Handbook lists no effect on potassium on, for example, albuterol.

Name the bronchodilator you are interested in & I'll look it up & tell you.

(Lasix, which is a diuretic, does rob potassium. Lisinopril, an ACE inhibitor for reducing BP, does increase potassium. I am not familiar with any bronchodilators having an effect on K+.)

Not if used correctly, but overuse can deplete potassium levels and cause heart attacks. This is really something you should be discussing with your GP,
