Cubs Trade Vogelbach for Montgomery?

The Cubs and Mariners have traded long-time prospect Dan Vogelbach for relief pitcher Mike Montgomery.

The Cubs desperately need bullpen help but is Montgomery the answer? He's not a flame thrower and he's prone to giving up the long ball.

Epstein made this trade for one reason: To put pressure on Brian Cashman. The Yankees want Schwarber and Theo doesn't want to trade him, but he still wants Miller.

So he's basically telling Cashman to take what the Cubs offer or it's no deal. Smart move on Epstein's part, unless Montgomery comes in and sucks.
