Should the US's Olympics track and field team reflect the nation's racial diversity or should members be picked on the basis of performance?

Obviously preformance although the Olympic teams do tend to be pretty diverse based on the fact that different sports tend to be more popular among certain cultures

If our athletes aren't chosen based on performance, then we are denying some very deserving people a chance to fulfill a life-long dream, after spending countless thousands of hours of intense training.

Bingo! and that is exactly what happens when someone is denied admission to a top college or is not hired for a dream job because of affirmative action quotas disguised as "diversity" guidelines.

Diversity is only required when there are 'too many' whites. An all black team would be considered perfectly diverse. You need to brush up on liberal definitions.

No. And neither should anything else

    Diversity is garbage

Thankfully it, as in the past, will be both.
