Do I need circuits or hardwire?

Building a 14VDC Electromagnetic Nailer that works by switching 14 electromagnets/solenoids on & off rapidly; do I need an amp connected to a transistor & do they need to be on a board or hardwired with 16g Copper & insulated/grounded?

USE SCR CIRCUIT IS BETTER THAN POWER TRANSISTOR.

You're correct; because I recently learned that the SCR consists of multiple transistors that can be gated for differing effects; but does the SCR need to,be on a circuit board? (That efficiency tho)

No good reason for 14v DC. Not a standard voltage. What problem are you trying to solve?
