Are brexit voters well informed?

The European Parliament is the only directly elected EU body. It represents the citizens of the EU, in contrast to the Council of Ministers, which represents the governments.

Elections have been held every five years since 1979 - before that, members were drawn from national parliaments.

The European Parliament's powers have steadily increased with each change of the EU treaties. Many laws in member states now stem from the need to implement European legislation.

It's not at all the same as being well informed, but a large majority university graduates voted 'remain', while those whose education ended at 16 or earlier overwhelmingly voted 'leave'.

The majority of those in full or part-time employment voted 'remain' while the majority of those not working voted 'leave'.

Most of England voted to leave. London voted to stay because they're useless paper shufflers collecting high paid welfare checks. Scotland and N. Ireland voted to stay because they also like welfare checks.

They are as well informed as the ones that voted remain.

We are a democratic country and people chose for their own reasons.

  • Before the referendum, I warned you that a Brexit vote would result in Boris becoming Prime Minister, that immigration would actually be made worse, that Britain's economy and currency would go into meltdown, that the A1 would collapse into the abyss and that England would lose to Iceland.

Informing is one thing, but you didn't believe me. Well you do now. Boris is laughing all the way to the bank.

They were very keen to the oppression of the EU

    Yes. Look at the facts.

Britian was established before the US

The people are less stupid/obese than Americans

The old people are the ones voting and probably don't know what Google is, which is why they left the EU. Stupid oldies.

In conclusion, they are informed because they're probably smart and they have nice accents.
