Will my friend survive?

She is 12 years old and she has Acute Myeloid Leukemia cancer. She is in the St. Jude hospital right now

    You can't predict the out come, but her chances are fair to good. The survival rates are much higher for children than adults. For children under age 14, the survival rate is somewhere between 65-80%. For adults over the age of 60, the survival rate is only around 5%. When you average the survival over all ages, you come up with the number cited by Pedrobear.

    well she is in a really good hospital and they will do all they can too save her
