So my wife and I want to call our son Charlie; but she wants his name to be Charlemagne; I want it to be Charles (last name Jackson). Which?

    Charlemagne is a bit too much.

    I would go with Charles.

    This made me think of Pll.. Anyways, id go with Charles. It's more appealing than Charlemagne, truthfully, and doesn't sound like someone who performs in a circus.

    Just name him Charlie. It's an actual name. It's the name of my baby brother. :) If you name him Charlie, you won't have anything to disagree over.
