Do you think the new FDA regulation on e-cigarette will get amended?
It's too draconian now and there are lawsuits from vendors, not to mention Congress might change it through bills.

None of the current "vendors" have the sort of political clout necessary to write legislation.
They aren't going to win any law suit, because they have no real case.
Nicotine is a poison, so its regulation is foregone conclusion.
If a real company gets involved, they'll quickly modify it to a set of rules which will make it pretty much like cigarettes and which will be stringent enough that virtually all the current vendors will be out of business. The only thing holding back a large company is the knowledge of the inevitable law suits once vaping is proven to be bad for people beyond a shadow of a doubt. (it is, you don't just inhale weird gases without harm.)
Face it, the days of people mixing this up in their garage are over.

I hope not. I hate vapes and vapers.
