"Orthodox" Muslims (both Sunni and Shi'ite) will tell you that reincarnation is contrary to the teachings of Islam as defined in the Qur'an and Hadiths. There is nothing in these sources that supports or validates the teaching of reincarnation.

For this reason, the overwhelming majority of the world's Muslims do not believe in reincarnation. But not all Muslims toe the "orthodox" line and for this reason are sometimes not recognized as "Muslim" by their co-religionists. Teachings about reincarnation can be found among the Bektashis and other Sufi sects. The largest Muslim group that believes in reincarnation is the Alawites, an offshoot of Shi'ite Islam. Most Alawites live in Syria and Lebanon. It's my understanding however that the Alawites, Bektashis and other sects that accept reincarnation do so on the basis of traditions outside the Qur'an and Hadiths that Sunni Muslims do not accept as valid or authoritative.
