My work went to part-time so I applied and was accepted to postpone my Navient student loan payback.?

Just found out they are charging interest daily so it is really compounding. Are there any laws, restrictions student loan companies must adhere to at all?

Nope. Went through this not too long ago. Better to try to pay it all along, at least the interest. We ended up with $6000 in interest alone over an 18-month period. It's ridiculous. Find another job that is full time so you are working a job and a half or even 1 1/4 jobs and just pay the loan down quicker with the amount from the other job. There ought to be a law!
