Is it even possible to have a new viewpoint on any given subject? Nutrition? Health? Politics? Philosophy? Education? Parenting? That’s what we want to...

There are always plenty of surprises, and there are some things that are novel to everyone, so it can truly be said that there are new things under the sun. Maybe a more relevant question is "Is there anything that hasn't already been spoken of enough?" And the answer is: "Oh yes indeed!"

If there is anything that has not been said or thought about I do not know of it.
Having said that people are always thinking of different things or processes. That is, after all, how new man made things come into existence.

If someone clearly decides there isn't anything new under the sun then they'll never make strides to provide something new.

Fortunately plenty of people are fully willing to move things forward and discover/create/influence things to bring new ideas to light.

If there isn't then we'd better let the people that are doing basic science research ( to no avail if this is true) that they are wasting their time and money.

I for one, have no illusion of being omniscient. The only way to adopt the statement made as true is to assume omniscience.

I assure you, there is MUCH more that we don't know - or even know we don't know - than that that we do (seem) to have some understanding of.

yes we should think about what you and other 60 years old were doing in the year 70 ,you people were making a lot of predictions and inventions and abstract.now that fifty year old men or women who invented and were epidemiology experts are saying nothing.

I'd normally consider returning it, however Yahoo! created this 'feature,' so it's only fair they deal with the consequences at least once themselves. The account that did the move would certainly warrant investigation, as I suspect this switch is likely to be only the tip of the iceberg.

If you reshuffle and deal a deck of cards once every two seconds you won't get the same card order for approximately a hundred million years. Are there new cards? No. Are their new combinations of cards? Absolutely. Cards here meaning ideas.

P.S. A lot of these answers on this question are talking about the far future, but in the far future, we'll all be dead from some sort of crazy accident.

It's possible and even likely that there are many subjects that have not been *thoroughly* discussed throughout the course of human history. But the question alone, technically, makes it so that *every* subject that can possibly be discussed, has been, at the very, very least, mentioned one time.
