Not much in the way of ISIS activity in Italy, so I think you are good from that respect. But watch out for pickpockets.

If you are worried, you could always go to Naples, FL... It's very nice.

ISIS is not a problem in Naples. Organised crime is rife, but the Camorra do not target tourists. Many Neapolitans are extremely poor giving rise to a petty criminal element. As in any large city, don't flaunt your wealth and keep your valuables where pickpockets and bag snatchers can't reach them.

Naples is probably fine, though Sicily I would watch out because it isn't really that much of a vacation spot with all of the floating migrants coming in, though watch out for the traditional Italian pick pockets.

Nope, but there are many great vacation spots in the USA.
