Can anyone give insight on FBI HRT? How long do they deploy when they deploy overseas? What is their schedule like?

Normal police schedule as in rotating shifts? I know they keep a team on standby at all times so is that rotating or is it like 48 on 48 off or something? Also where are they stationed(if anywhere) as in main base of operations. Not much info on these guys to find so anything else would be great if you know anything at all

Less than a few hundred of them, more than 90% of them are all former SOF (SFOD-D, DEVGRU, SF, SEAL, Ranger, etc).

Their teams do three 120 day rotations of training, operations, and support, which breaks down into them mainly maintaining their equipment and conducting training exercises domestically and aboard, serving on an operational capacity allows for them to be deployed aboard and domestically, and then having downtime to continue maintaining their unit effectiveness and gear respectively.

They can and have been deployed across the United States and across the globe (they've done stints in both Iraq and Afghanistan during OIF/OEF) and participated in numerous operations alongside US and allied SOF. The vast majority of their operations you will never hear about, and their capabilities are highly withheld by the FBI since they constantly are adapting their techniques and training methods to remain a dynamic force capable of tackling any operation.
