Isn't it ironic 12 years after France opposed to invasion of Iraq it would be sucked into conflict with ISIS?
Seeing that ISIS was created by that very invasion. Tawhid wal Jihad=al Qaida in Iraq=ISIS

The founder of ISIS is Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who began this crap back in the late 80's early 90's. Research might help you understand.
This will get you started. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jama'at_al-Tawhid_wa...

this is the irony,
“Eurabia: the Euro-Arab Axis”
"The process [of the islamization Europe] began
“with French Pres Charles De Gaulle's 1967 pronouncement that henceforward, France would assume a pro-Arab policy.”
“In 1971, France began selling arms to Qaddafi…”
France built a nuclear reactor for Saddam in Iraq that the Israelis bombed & destroyed in 1981.
The Iranians bombed it in 1980, but the French were able to repair it.
The Israelis bombed and destroyed it in 1981 and delivered a message it must not be rebuilt.
Israeli airstrikes in 1981 destroyed Saddam's French-built nuclear reactor.

Bush used 911 as a stepping stone into Iraq with his bogus WMD intelligence. Then he has the biggest war mongering business men Rumfeld and Chaney on the war path with him.
Those countries believe in Kings, Princes imams , clans, sects. They don't go with Democracy. WTF! No look what we got! A HUGE vacuum for these clowns to wage war. We have armed ISIS leaving our weapons behind! And now you have what you have. They have somewhat of the building blocks for their Caliphate NOW!
France is a big target in the eyes of Arabs because over the ages they have fought.

Correction: The invasion of Iraq did not cause the creation of ISIS. Abandoning prematurely the gains won in Iraq caused the creation of ISIS
No, I don't see the irony here

Yes, and it's also sad. It was predicted that the Iraq invasion would have dire consequences that could last for decades but the war hawks would not listen. It was not only an unnecessary and unjustified invasion but immoral.

ISIS started in Syria and has been around since Clinton.

"If there were no God man would have to invent one" so too if there were no ISIS the people who joined ISIS would be Al Qaeda, Hezbullah, Al Nusra, or any of the thousands of terrorist groups that have operated in that region for CENTURIES. So you should be out protesting Obama then since he wants to NATION BUILD In Syria too.. go camp out at his Chicago house like Cindy!

2008 - Obama says he will end the war in Iraq.
2012 - Obama takes full credit for ending the war in Iraq.
2014 - Obama claims ending the war in Iraq was not his decision.

The reason for the upswing in islamic terror is obama leaving much too early and allowing them to thrive. The conflict was necessary.

Well, to be fair, if we did not invade Iraq they probably would not have been pulled into this conflict now...
